Our Approach

Curated is made in New York - a city characterized by limitless potential and continual renewal. We study opportunities across the five boroughs. Our primary foci are renovation, adaptive reuse and infill development projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We prioritize mixed-use and residential developments where we can unlock significant value. We seek out unique and characterful properties. Where others see insurmountable challenges, we see a narrative, an opportunity, a New York gem.  

1/ Manhattan & Brooklyn

We love New York. The city’s five boroughs present limitless opportunities. We primarily focus on projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn, areas we know well that we live (and love) daily.

2/ Adaptive Reuse

We believe in adapting. We reimagine existing buildings and apartments - and redevelop them for the future. In doing so we revitalize neighborhoods, better use existing building stock, and breath new life into aging properties.

3/ Infill Projects

We believe in density. We develop new buildings in established neighborhoods, so more people can enjoy living in them. For our new projects, we seek out vacant lots, ‘postage stamp’ sized plots and overlooked land.

4/ Boutique Development

We think small is beautiful. We are a boutique developer, focused on small and medium sized projects. We are enthused by working on several small yet diverse projects concurrently.

5/ Mixed Use

We believe synergy is found in diversity. We develop mixed use buildings as cornerstones of the characterful, adaptable and self-sustaining neighbourhoods that typify New York.

Home is where the heart is, and we make homes worth loving - hard. We are experts in the development of beautiful, sustainable and characterful homes fit for the future or urban living.

If we don't love it, we don’t build it. If we are not inspired by it, we pass on it. If we can’t make it extraordinary, it’s not for us or our buyers.
